Landscape Lighting by Oasis wants everyone to be able to use https://www.example.com, including people who rely on assistive technology.
Our Commitment
We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, describe how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities affecting vision, hearing, movement, speech and cognition.
What We Do
We build and review the site with accessibility in mind. That work includes:
- Clear headings and page structure that screen readers can follow
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Color contrast between text and backgrounds that meets the guidelines
- Full use of the site, including the contact form, with a keyboard alone
- Form fields with visible labels and error messages that explain what to fix
- Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and zoomed text
Content From Other Services
Some parts of the site come from outside services, such as the customer reviews feed and the spam check on our contact form. We choose these services with accessibility in mind, but we do not control all of their content, and parts of them may not fully meet the guidelines.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is ongoing work. We review the site as we add pages and features, and we correct problems as we find them. Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible.
