Who We Are
Our Columbia SC Outdoor Lighting Company Story
The first thing to know about Landscape Lighting by Oasis is that lighting is the whole business. We are a new, local landscape lighting company Columbia homeowners can call for one job done well: planning and installing outdoor lighting that looks warm and inviting at night. We do not mow lawns, plant beds or build patios. Every visit, every plan and every fixture is about light.
That focus comes from a simple preference. A yard lit in a warm yellow tone feels calm and welcoming, the way a porch light does on a summer evening. Cold, blue-white light can make the same yard look flat and harsh. Our work starts from that warm look and builds outward, from the path to the front door to the tree in the side yard.
Being new means every project gets close attention. We are building our name one home at a time across Columbia, Lake Murray and Chapin, and each yard we light is the best introduction we have to the neighbors.

Our Focus
Warm LED Light, Designed for the Evening
Everything we install uses LED lighting in a warm yellow tone. LED fixtures draw far less power than the halogen bulbs many older systems relied on, and the warm color keeps a home looking like a home rather than a parking lot. Fixture types and color choices are explained on our LED landscape lighting page.
Designing for the evening means thinking about what people actually do outside after dark. In the Midlands, summers are hot and humid, and the most comfortable hours outdoors often come after sunset. Light on the deck, the steps and the walkways lets those hours stretch longer, and soft light on trees and the front of the house gives the property shape from the street.
We favor a few looks that suit that goal: copper path lights along walks and beds, gentle uplighting on trees and the facade, and low, shielded light on outdoor living spaces. Guests see the yard, the steps and each other without staring into a bulb.

What We Light Around Your Home
Our work covers the whole property, from the curb to the back fence. Most homes combine several of these, and a single plan ties them together so the lighting reads as one design rather than a set of separate projects.
- Residential landscape lighting for paths, beds and front yards
- Deck and patio lighting for steps, rails and seating areas
- Pool landscape lighting for the decking, plantings, fences and walkways around a pool
- Tree uplighting for trees and the front of the house
- Security landscape lighting for driveways, entries and dark corners
One more thing worth knowing about Landscape Lighting by Oasis: our pool work stays outside the water. We light the space around a pool, and we do not install fixtures inside it.

How We Work
Our Process for Every Lighting Project
Good landscape lighting is planned around the property, never picked from a catalog. Every project follows the same path, so you know what happens next and nothing is left to guesswork.
-
Lighting Consultation
We start with a conversation about how you use your yard and what you want to see after dark. Then we walk the property and look at the house, the trees, the paths and the spaces where you spend your evenings.
-
Design Plan
We map where each light goes, what it lights and how bright it should be, keeping the whole design in the same warm tone. You see the plan and the quote before any work begins.
-
Installation
We install the fixtures and run the wiring with care for your lawn and beds, placing each light where the plan calls for it and leaving the yard tidy.
-
Evening Adjustment
Lighting is judged at night, so we review the finished work after dark and adjust the aim and brightness until the yard looks the way you pictured it.

Serving Columbia, Lake Murray and Chapin
We are based in Columbia and work on homes across the city and the lake country to its west. Each place has its own character after dark. In Columbia, the state capital, older neighborhoods such as Shandon, Forest Acres and Rosewood have mature trees and established front yards that suit landscape lighting in Columbia built around uplighting and paths.
Around Lake Murray, the large reservoir west of Columbia formed by the Saluda Dam, many homes face the water, so decks, patios and the paths toward the shore are where evenings are spent. Chapin sits on the lake's northeast side in Lexington County and mixes lake homes with neighborhoods farther from the water. Reviews, Cost and Scheduling
Before choosing a lighting company, most homeowners want to hear from people who hired it and to understand cost, scheduling and how LED fixtures hold up over the years. Our customers' own reviews and our plain answers on those topics come straight from the work we do.

Questions About Landscape Lighting by Oasis
Is Landscape Lighting by Oasis a local company?
Yes. Landscape Lighting by Oasis is based in Columbia, South Carolina, and works on homes in Columbia, Lake Murray and Chapin. Working close to home means we can visit your property, see it in daylight and after dark, and plan lighting around the way you actually use your yard. You can reach us at (803) 790-1216, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Is Landscape Lighting by Oasis a new company?
Yes. Landscape Lighting by Oasis is a new business, started with a single focus on warm LED landscape lighting for homes. Being new means every project gets close attention, from the first conversation to the final adjustment after dark. We are building our reputation one yard at a time, and we welcome every question you have before any work begins.
Do you do landscaping as well as lighting?
No. We are a lighting-only company, so we do not mow, plant or build hardscapes. We light what is already there: trees, beds, walkways, decks, patios, pool surroundings and the front of the house. If you are planning new landscaping, it helps to talk with us early so the lighting plan fits the finished yard instead of being added as an afterthought.
Why do you use only warm LED lighting?
Warm yellow LED light makes a home look welcoming at night, and it flatters brick, siding, stone and foliage without the harsh blue cast of cooler light. LED fixtures also use far less power than older halogen bulbs. Keeping every fixture in the same warm tone means the whole property reads as one design instead of a patchwork of mismatched colors.
